Protect us Lord, as we stay awake; watch over us as we sleep, that awake, we may keep watch with christ, and asleep, rest in His peace.

That's a lovely night prayer antiphon from the Divine Office. I have loved it since I first read it and it still continues to inspire me in the same way each time!

hey, thanks for the comment in my blog. i'm a jesuit from th philippine province. i'm not really bothered, spiritually-for me I can never doutb God for His mercy and love for me is overflowing. it was just a metaphysical question. once again thank you very much and God bless.
