Prayer of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta

Havenly Father, you blessed Mother Teresa with gifts of love and compassion so she could soend her life in service for the poorest of the poor. May we imitate her examples of holiness by sharing our faith and reaching out to those in need.
O Blessed Teresa of Calcutta, so compassionate were you toward the sick, the hungry and the unwanted. Your heroic virtues and the graceful faithfulness in which you lived as a servent of God are beautiful examples of your love and union with Him.
We rejoice in your beautification and we praise and thank our loving God for your life and generosity. Help us to follow the Gospel as faithfully and lovingly as you did.
Amen

Prayer to St. Theresa

O Lord, who hast said: "Unless you become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdomof heaven;" grant us, we beseech thee, so to walk in the footsteps of thy blessed Virgin Theresa with a humble and single heart, that we may attain to everlasting rewards: who livest and reignest world without end. Amen

Prayer to St. Maria Goretti

Heroic and angelic Saint Maria Goretti, we kneel before you to honor your perserving fortitude and to beg your gracious aid. Teach us a deep love for the precepts of our Holy Church; help us to see in them, the very voice of our Father in Heaven. May we preserve without stain our white baptismal robe of innocence.
May we who have lost this innocence kneeel humbly in Holy Penance; and with the absolution of the priest may the torent of Christ's precious Blood flow into our souls and give us new courage to carry the burning light of God's love through the dangerous highways of this life until Christ our King shall call us to the courts of heaven.

Angels Appreared

This a is a poem that I had written about 2 years ago for a english class. It is a poem that i made up in 20 minutes during class after 24 hours of trying to figure out what to write about!!! This poem was read at my great-grandmothers funeral and was put inot her casket in April of 2004!!! it has become my mothers favorite poem of all time. It has helped me alot through the sorrows of death!!!

Angels appeared before me,
And looked into my eyes,
Where they can see my spirt,
As though they've known me for a very long time.

As it is a message from God,
Where He calls me home,
Though I can not refuse,
Since I said YES to him,
I stood up to see myself,
Sleeping happily for the rest of time.
